California Outbreak Due To Anti-Vaccine Movement

Most of the people infected were unvaccinated against measles. The outbreak has triggered a debate about the anti-vaccine movement led by Jenny McCarthy, where parents have opted their children out of vaccination as they feared about the potential side effects of vaccines. "The vaccine is entirely safe. Information about adverse effects like autism are just not true." defended by Dr. James Cherry, an UCLA infectious diseases expert about vaccine safety.
